Most of our services are bulk billed.

There may be a charge for additional materials eg. specialised dressings or medical reports.

Workers Compensation claims will be charged to your employer or their insurer. In the event that the claim is not payable, the patient will be responsible for payment.

Pathology Services

Please ring 4889 8456 to make an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and GP.

Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your GP has been called away. Children and urgent cases will always be fitted in to see one of our nurses who will assess the  condition of the patient. If the nurse believes the patient will require an appointment with a Dr, there may be a wait. For non-urgent appointments you may be asked to come back later or on another day.

Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time. If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organise this for you.  Please let us know when you make the appointment.

Each Dr has a number of appointments that are kept free for emergencies on the day. These appointments can only be released on the morning of the day.


Reminder System

​The new Pathology Centre run by Laverty pathology is open to Surgery patients from 8am to 1pm Monday - Friday. The centre is located in Hill Top surgery. You will need to see a Doctor before your blood test to get a request form.


We are happy to receive positive and negative comments and appreciate any feedback that may insure the service and care to all patients.

Please feel free to talk to your doctor or one of our receptionists. If you do not feel you have had a satisfactory response, please refer your complaint to the Practice Manager. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously.


​Our practice is committed to preventative care. Your doctor will seek your permission to be included in our reminder system. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let your doctor or the receptionist know.
